For Adults
Our individual counseling is designed to explore one’s feelings, beliefs, and behaviors in a private setting with our trained professionals. We aim to assist in a wide array of life issues such as, navigating everyday challenges, coping with stress and anxiety, working through sadness and depression, relationships issue, and work-life balance. Through our treatment individuals will develop tools to make healthy changes, gain insight, and direction for their personal life journey.
For Adolescent/ Children
Counseling for children and teens places emphasis on the tough transitions through developmental stages. Our youth face many difficulties today including, navigating social and peer interactions, understanding their own feelings and thoughts, conflict with parents, school-related challenges, bullying, personal and sexual identity, substance use and pressure of social media. We strive to assist youth in learning to articulate and address these issues in a safe environment providing guidance and support.
For Families
This type of therapy can be with one or multiple members of your family meeting with a therapist. The goal of family therapy is to identify and address any areas that may be causing distress in the family and work on solutions to improve communication and solve problems together.
For Couples
Couples therapy focuses on the creation of healthy pathways toward enhanced understanding and connection between two individuals. Relationships of all types can be filled with complex issues, uncertainty, hurts and traumas, and confusion. Our therapeutic approach centres on the specific needs of each individual relationship, developing strategies for healthy communication, the establishment of trust, conflict resolution strategies, developing healthy intimacy, and managing balance between the relationship and children.
